Paul Stannard BA MBA
                
 Paul Stannard was General Manager for Farm Products Co-operative (Tararua) Ltd from 1980-84 and Chief Executive of Truck Investments Ltd from 1984-87. So he has first hand experience of working with Boards and senior managers. After 11 years with PA Consulting Group he moved across to Rodgers & Partners, the Wellington office of which is now R & P Consulting. Most of his consulting experience has also been at the board/management interface, either appointing directors, chief executives or senior managers, negotiating contracts and/or performance agreements between them and resolving many other issues frequently of a strategic nature. He has been a director of two publicly owned organisations, the most prominent of which, Horowhenua Energy, was set up as a consumer owned co-operative with shareholder elected Trustees and an annual rebate policy. He has been involved in the appointment of complete Boards, individual directors and trustees as well as many chief executives. All have involved the definition of competencies and assessment of and reporting on candidates against those competencies as well as advising critical stakeholders. His clients include local and regional government organisations, Health Boards, educational institutions and many other public and private sector organisations. Finally Paul has been employed on numerous occasions to assess senior managers for career development and training. |
